Please be assured that the experienced staff at Ravine Way Surgery Center (RWSC) will work directly with your insurance company to make all necessary arrangements on your behalf prior to surgery.  Here is what you can expect:

  • Your doctor’s office will schedule your surgery and provide us with your health insurance billing information.
  • Our staff will contact your insurance carrier to verify the benefits of your plan. Depending on your insurance and your procedure, some insurance carriers may require Pre-certification/Pre-Authorization or Predetermination. Your original surgical date may change since some plans take up to 15 days.
  • Depending on your insurance plan, you will be contacted by a member of our staff for a Facility surgical deposit and/or co-payment; or to discuss any coverage issues.

  • After your surgery, RWSC will submit a claim to your insurance carrier for the facility fees.  For procedures which will require specific implants, a claim will also be submitted for those items.
  • RWSC will receive payment from your insurance carrier, and will send you a statement outlining any balance due on your account.
  • Please note that the RWSC billing is for the facility only and does not include charges for your surgeon, anesthesiologist or pathologist services.
  • We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
